Souls-like Action RPG Riven Crown Coming Out Next Year

Intima Leaf announced that its upcoming title Riven Crown is coming out in the fourth quarter of 2026. This atmospheric Souls-like Action RPG is where death is not the end but instead the beginning of a mythic descent through layered realms beyond life.

The game tells the story of a fallen hero who dies and is later transported to a higher dimension. There the hero has to travel across multiple worlds and fight to change their fate. These worlds are populated by corrupted civilizations with their inhabitants being transformed into beasts or demons over time. The elders of these societies are secretly plotting to find a way to break free of the cycle and ascend to the next realm.

The hero dies in their world and has awakened in a higher and fractured dimension. It is one where reality is distorted. In addition, there are four ancient civilizations that exist here and each one is ruled by either a King or a Queen. These rulers have access to the power of their respective god with only the fourth civilization's god remaining absent.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of these civilizations, corrupted by time and greed, have been transformed into hell-beasts and now led by the Deep Samum, who is a demon of great power. Deep Samum was once their king or queen. Over time, these rulers were petrified by a cataclysmic event called The Great Sweep and left their people to continue their existence in ruin.

Riven Crown features classic Souls-like combat and combines it with a deep and combo-driven fighting system. The game introduces what can be described as a fresh and high-skill twist to the genre. This is because each weapon has its own unique combo routes that are designed to be memorized, mastered, and then chained together with precision.
