Official Version of Banished Stone Comes Out Later this Year

Regal Computer Services announced that the full version of Banished Stone is releasing sometime later this year. The game was released on Steam Early Access back March 2025. This exciting and content-rich action RPG offers a captivating sideways fantasy game.

In the game, players are taken to the Ridge. This area is where the Company rules with an iron fist and has turned crime into a truly lucrative business. Like everyone else in the Ridge, players take on the role of someone who wants to break free from the oppressive grip of the Company. They've grown up without knowing who their parents are. In addition, they've always been on the run and thus never truly felt safe.

Casual Gameplay

Banished Stone offers everyone a casual gameplay experience. That means they can play for as long or as little as they want.

Anyway, they'll need to work as a way to pay off the bounty on their head and then earn their ticket to freedom. To lower the bounty, they can slay monsters or execute tasks. However, it's not going to be easy since there are tasks that actually increase the bounty.

Going back to the monsters, there's a lot of them and they have varied spawning systems. Each has their own set of challenges along with different amounts of bounty that players can earn. Combat itself happens in real-time with players needing to master their combat abilities and powers to fight enemies.

Get the Loot

The game also features a lot of items and loot. Loot in particular can be obtained mainly by defeating enemies. Loot can also be gained from other NPCs, completing tasks, or earning pet rewards.

There are also passive loot drops known as Illumination and Darkness. These can be used to change the time-of-day in an area day-to-night or night-to-day. These changes also affect monsters who may behave differently when it’s day or night.

Wings of Wisdom

Helping players in their quests are the Wings of Wisdom relic. This is a rare artifact that has been passed down the family for generations. Once the wings are in their possession, they'll be able to fly to access additional content and even get around obstacles.
