SUPER ROBOT WARS Y Coming this August to PC and Consoles

Bandai Namco is inviting everyone to conquer fate and join a new adventure in SUPER ROBOT WARS Y. This grid-based tactical combat RPG brings mechs and pilots from various beloved and iconic shows. It’s releasing on August 28 and to be available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch.

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y is the new entry to the franchise after SUPER ROBOT WARS 30, released in 2021. This is a must-have for fans of the long-running game series in the West.

Conquer Fate

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y challenges the guardians of steel to rise against the looming calamity of inevitable ruin and conquer fate. The game offers all-star units and combines it with action-packed attack animations along with an upgrade system where players can customize different units and pilots. It features a deep and engaging original story that’s able to weave together universes from various mecha anime.

In a fight to determine the future of the world, players get to strategically command an army on a grid-based battlefield as they make use of their arsenal of weapons and abilities to defeat the opposing army.

Assist Link System

One interesting feature of SUPER ROBOT WARS Y is the Assist Link system. This allows certain characters to join the battles as part of the Assist Crew. Players can then use Assist Commands to recover HP and EN and boost a unit's attack power, to name a few. The Assist Crew meanwhile gains valuable XP with each activation and level up to unlock or enhance passive abilities to help units dominate the battlefield.
