Studio Releases New Teaser Trailer for Lootbound

The ArtDock Team has released a new trailer for its upcoming title Lootbound. This turn-based pixel-art roguelite is a game where each decision matters and where loot is life. It's set to be released in the first quarter of 2026.

In Lootbound, players get to assemble a party composed of desperate survivors as they scavenge gear and upgrades in a relentless descent into procedurally generated dungeons. Each expedition challenges them to manage their inventory, plan their next move, and of course, survive long enough to bring something valuable back.

In a post, the development team shared that this is "a special game" for them. It was made possible with a lot of love and they've managed to put everything they've learned into this title. They went on to say that it's still in development but they're excited to share updates and sneak peeks with everyone. That said, watch the teaser trailer here.

Fight to the Surface

Players take on the role of a treasure hunter who’s managed to brave the depths of ancient dungeons. They've also managed to beat the guardians of these dungeons and claim their loot. The challenge is now trying to get out.

Core Gameplay

In the game, players prepare for their run through the main hub. Here they can build the part, equip the heroes and optimize inventory. Once that's done they can then navigate the world via a branching path on the global map. It's important to remember that each route offers different challenges, enemies, and events. Once they reach the boss, it's there they face a final test and then choose how the run ends.

Luck of the Roll

Now before each run, players roll three dice which are a D10, a D12, and a D20. These rolls shape the expedition by applying unique buffs, debuffs, and gameplay modifiers which stay active for the entire run. This system ensures that each and every journey is a gamble while also being an opportunity.
