Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is Officially Out for PC and Consoles

The wait is finally over and Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is officially released. The game is available for the PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. It's also been launched for consoles PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S.

For the Steam version, the Standard Edition is priced at $39.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition is offered at $49.99. Aside from the base game, the Deluxe Edition also has the Shadowpyre Transmog Set, Curious Ottling Pet Follower, original soundtrack, and digital artbook.

An Inquisitor

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set in the dark and immersive world of Faelduum, which is teetering on the edge of ruin. Dark forces seep into its reality through tears in the fabric of existence and release the monsters upon it.

Players take on the role of an Inquisitor who’s tasked with rooting out heretics and enforcing the King Priest’s will. Their devotion has never wavered until now. It seems that one fleeting moment of defiance has set them on an irreversible path that leads to the heart of Faelduum’s unraveling fate.

It features Soulslike combat and combines it with non-linear exploration. The game offers challenging battles along with deep character customization and a narrative shaped by player choices.

Unique Classes

Players get to choose from six unique character classes, each one having unique talent trees and more than 200 active skill upgrades. The classes are Vanguard, Flameweaver, Spellbinder, Nightshade, Wyldwarden, and Vindicator.

Players also get to craft hundreds of weapons and items while also learning powerful Talents that define their combat style. They get to explore a vast and interconnected world as they unearth its secrets across 60 quests that push their skills to their limits.

Combat meanwhile is easy to grapes though it has nuanced depth. Players have to dodge, parry, and strike with perfect timing if they are to avoid a pitiful fate.
