The child-rearing simulator Magical Princess is releasing on PC via Steam. The game is based on the beloved Magical board game series and created by MAGI with Neotro. It combines parenthood and fantasy.
The game is based on the beloved Magical series of board games that’s about magic-wielding apprentice bakers. These include the likes of Magical Bakery, Magical Patisserie, and Magical Kingdom. Magical Princess serves as the first digital entry in the franchise.
A New Life
The game is set in the Panetteria kingdom, which offers a new start at life not just for Alice and her cat Ebon but also her dad. Players get to take on the role and step up as a doting father who does his best to raise a daughter between shifts while at the same time looking for that work-life balance. In between all of these, they have to nurtureAlice with love and care from early childhood and all the way until she graduates from the Royal Magic Academy. As mysterious events unfold, players get to uncover a secret tie between Alice's hidden fate and the kingdom's future.
The Way Forward
The path forward for Alice depends on how she’s being taken care of by her father. For example, players who decide to cultivate good study habits can see Alice become a model student. Meanwhile, allowing repeated bad behavior can result in Alice growing up to be a juvenile delinquent. Players can schedule her daily activities as a way to build up different qualities like Stamina, Intelligence, Charm, and even Sense.
Nighttime presents those “extracurricular” temptations like a part-time job kneading mysterious bread, a “dangerous” clothing store, and other unsavory experiences. Without proper guidance, it is possible that Alice may come to prefer nights out partying instead of studying for the Academy.
Cool Features
Magical Princess offers players the chance to build relationships with at least 30 characters. These include Alice's friends and teachers at the academy. Each one comes with unique personalities.
Players can weave together an enthralling narrative across hundreds of thousands of words of storytelling, 700 pages of comic-style scenes, 100 illustrations, over 170 date events, and more than 50 possible endings.
Magical Princess is currently in development and to be available for PC via Steam.
