The first is LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete. It introduces the aspiring Dragonmaster Alex who teams up with friends to fight against the emergence of the Magic Emperor and stop him from taking over the world. The second is LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete. It's set a thousand years after the first game. This time the focus is on Hiro and his friends as they look for the Goddess Althena. Along the way they get to fight against enemies whose main purpose is hunting them down.
The two adventures come with updated language support and are now available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, and German.
Turn-Based Battle System
Players get to engage in turn-based combat where they can use the party’s arsenal of magic, skills, and items. Each character has defined strengths and unique skills which can be leveled up and learned throughout the journey. For LUNAR 2, there's also the Crest System where characters can obtain benefits that include stat boosts and high-level magic from crest synergies.
Quality of Life Improvements
One of the improvements made is that players now have the ability to adjust the battle speed at any point during the battle.
Battle speed can now be adjusted at any point during battle, with three speeds to choose from. For LUNAR, players can enjoy a toggleable inventory management system where all characters in the party share a combined inventory. The Battle system for LUNAR has also been improved to allow players to customize the CPU behavior of individual characters.
Two Modes
